Turkey Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 Turkey
  • 1 Stick butter
  • 2 Springs Thyme
  • 1 Handful Sage Leaves
  • Olive Oil
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 4 Stalks Chopped Celery
  • 2 Carrots
  • 2 Onions
  • 1 Cup Chicken Stock for Basting

Prep

Brine the turkey in salt and water overnight

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees
  2. Cut the onions, celery, and carrots and line the bottom of the pan
  3. Chop the herbs and mix into the butter with salt
  4. Spread the herb butter under the skin of the turkey
  5. Brush olive oil over the skin of the turkey
  6. Roast the turkey in the oven for X hours, basting every 30 minutes
