
Paprikash Recipe
Ingredients
- 16-20 oz Frozen Grilled Chicken Strips
- 6 Sweet Peppers Sliced into Long Pieces
- 8 Roma Tomatoes, Chopped
- 5-6 Cloves Minced Garlic
- 2-3 Tbsp Olive Oil
- 12 oz Uncooked Pasta
- 2 cups Chicken Stock
- 1 cup Milk
- 3 Tbsp Smoked or Sweet Paprika
- Fresh Herbs: Thyme, Oregano, Chives
- Fresh Cracked Pepper
- Salt to Taste
Prep
Mince, chop, and slice ingredients as indicated
Steps
- Add the olive oil to a large Dutch oven and heat over medium heat.
- Add the garlic and cook till fragrant and soft, about 5 minutes.
- Add tomatoes and cook to release juices.
- Add the peppers.
- Cook until peppers begin to soften and release their juices, about 8 minutes.
- Add chicken and stir until hot.
- Add stock and milk. Heat to a boil.
- Add pasta, bring to a simmer, and cover cooking for 8 minutes or until the pasta is done, stirring occasionally.
