
Air Fryer Chicken Wings
Ingredients: Chicken Wings
- 2 lbs chicken wings
- 1 cup flour
- salt to taste
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper, plus more as needed
- 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
Prep
Mix flour, salt, and spices in a bowl together. Preheat air fryer to 400.
Steps
- Toss wings in seasoned flour mixture
- Air fry coated wings for 20 minutes, flipping halfway
- Toss in desired sauce (see sauces below or use store bought)
- Air fry for additional 5 minutes for maximum caremlization
Buffalo Sauce
- 1/2 cup Frank’s Red Hot
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 tbsp vinegar
Melt butter and mix ingredients together
Manchurian Sauce
- 1 1/5 tbsp oil
- 1 tbsp garlic
- 1/2 tablespoon ginger
- 1 green chili
- 1/3 cup onions, chopped
- 1/4 cup bell pepper, chopped
- 1 tbsp soy sauce (or tamari for gluten free)
- 2-3 tbsp red chili sauce
- 1-2 tbsp tomato ketchup
- 1/2 tsp kashmiri red chili powder
- 1/2 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tsp sugar
- Salt to taste
- 3 tbsp water
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- Spring onions to garnish (minced)
- Prepare all ingredients as indicated
- In a saucepan add oil, garlic, ginger, green chili, onions, and bell pepper
- Add sauces (soy, vinegar, ketchup, red chili sauce)
- Add chili powder. sugar. salt, pepper, and water
- Cook until thickened and all ingredients cooked through
